Our Curriculum
Our curriculum was written by Karen Woods Jones and edited by Greg Elliott, and we have been using it since the Fall of 1994. It is written to be studied over a five-year time span.
The whole Bible is thoroughly studied and nothing is left out. The teachers’ guides present the scripture text, memory verse, outline and facts of the text, ideas for lesson presentation, and discussion questions. Each teacher adjusts the lesson age-appropriately for his/her own class and includes whatever handwork he/she feels will reinforce the lesson text. Handwork is provided by the teachers; it is not included within the curriculum books. Many coloring pages, puzzles, and other types of handwork are available through Bible book stores.
